Cobb and Co Nine Mile Camping Grounds is a historical location of the old Cobb & Co Horse Change Stables.
These stables located on the Six Mile Creek were the first stop on the stage coach route from Gympie to Noosa which ran from 1878.
It is on this location that Sean & Katherine O Hanlon have created and developed Cobb and Co Nine Mile Camping Grounds.
It is fast becoming one of the great camping spot for those who enjoy a nice quiet spot to relax and unwind in a beautiful part of the world.
Facilities at Cobb and Co Nine Mile Camping Grounds
Cobb and Co Nine Mile Camping Grounds provide luxury camping sites with Canvas Cabins. These Canvas Cabins are more like motel rooms than tents.
The Canvas Cabins are very spacious. There are two rooms with one room having a Queen size bed and the other room having two single beds with pullouts.
Lighting for the Canvas Cabins are available both in the rooms and on the deck.
All you need to do is relax, unwind and enjoy the surrounds. What makes this camping ground enjoyable is that there are noise restrictions so that families can enjoy a great weekend away.
Cobb and Co Nine Mile Camping Grounds also provide unpowered camping sites.
There are many unpowered locations on the 50 lush acres. There are open grassy camp sites.
There are many camping sites among the trees or you can find a private spot along the edge of the billabong.
Cobb and Co Nine Mile Camping Grounds facilities include:
